Anglicanismo

 Anglicanismo

Tudo Começou A mudar:

Anglicanism

About:
Anglicanism is a form of Christianity. It is part of the Protestant branch of the Christian religion. Some of these churches have different names but are all related to each si.O Anglicanism developed in England, and the Church of England is still the head of the Anglican Church.

When was Created:
The Anglican Church was created when King Henry VIII separated the Church of England from the Catholic Church in the mid-century XVI.Ele did it because Pope Clement VII refused to grant him the annulment of his marriage to Catherine of Aragão.Na time other peoples in Europe were breaking with the Catholic Church igualmente.Algumas people in England wanted the Church of England maintained ties to Roman Catholicism, while others wanted more changes, as in other Protestant Churches.

The conquest of the faithful:
In times of conquest of territories, raising faithful was not the most difficult tasks: the metropolis simply imposed their religion to colônia.Os Anglicans believe in the Trinity and follow, like all Christians, the Holy Escrituras.E so democratically, each province built a personality that is reflected even in the name. There is no single Anglican Church: there is the Church of England, Church of Ireland, the Episcopal Church USA, the Episcopal Anglican Church of Brazil, and so on. They all gathered in the call Anglican Communion, present in 160 countries on all continents of the globe. Altogether, there are 80 million members, enough to make the Anglicans the 3rd largest Christian community in the world.

Everything began to change:
From the seventeenth to the nineteenth century, British explorers founded colonies in America, Africa, India and Oceania. Missionaries soon spread the Church of England for all English colonies. From these missionary efforts, separate churches that came to form the Anglican Communion and the Episcopal Church of the United States were created.
